Our Patriots

Our 80 chapter members can trace their lineage back to these 92 ancestors, called "Patriots" in the DAR. Our Patriots served in 12 of the original colonies, as well as Louisiana, which was a Spanish colony at the time of the American Revolution. These Patriots held various positions, from Brigadier General down to patriotic service (aiding the cause, without military service).
